Natural Explorers Nursery provides early years education for children in the Glossopdale area and families living in this community will be given priority. We aim to ensure that all sections of the local community have access to the setting through open, fair and clearly communicated procedures. This policy is subject to annual review.
If requests for places exceeds the number of available sessions then the following criteria will be applied:
- Children who have a defined “need”, including those who are on or require a Child Protection Plan, looked after children, children with a special educational need or disability and children for whom a place is requested by a professional, external agency.
- Children who have siblings already attending the setting.
- Length of time on our admissions/waiting list.
At Natural Explorers we are passionate that ALL children have the best start in life and have access to an enriching learning environment supported by two Early Years Teachers and four Level 3 Early Years Educators.
We have a maximum number of 21 children on each session comprising sixteen 3/4 year olds and five 2 year olds.
